Outside of economics, I enjoy hiking, playing tennis, and building small furniture. My interest in woodworking began as a teenager with the construction of a small walking bridge on my highschool's cross country course, which spanned a small creek. This creek was the cause of frequent injuries because it would create bottlenecks and runners would often leap across and land awkwardly. I also enjoy using the Big Green Egg and rooting for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
